Seacourt Autumn Sessions- Letterpress
Date- 27th August
Time - 6pm-9pm
Join us for a morning of creativity and fun at Seacourt Print Workshop! Our Letterpress event is perfect for those who want to try their hand at this traditional printing technique. You'll get to use our vintage presses and experiment with different fonts and designs. No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and creativity!
What experience do I need?
This course is suitable for the beginner, however people with a background in graphic design maybe be particularly interested.
What will I make?
Throughout the evening you will produce 2/3 layouts of text, which can be printed in multiples, giving you up 6/8 prints to take home with you.
Your Tutor
Jessica Hollywood is an artist based in Bangor who primarily works with screen printing and letterpress, who is known for creating scenes that are evocative and nostalgic. She is a long term member of Seacourt Print Workshop, where she also works as part of the team. Her company Birds and Words is the umbrella for all her creative endeavours.
If I can't attend can I get a refund?
We will refund you if you cancel no less than 14 days before the course, after this time no refunds will be issued. Please note Ticket tailor's booking fee is non refundable. By making a booking you are agreeing to our full course terms and conditions which can be found on our website here.
What if the course is cancelled?
We reserve the right to cancel the course for any reason (for example, insufficient bookings). We will endeavour to give at least 7 days notice if the course is cancelled and in the event of cancellation we will, of course, issue you a full refund. Please refer to full terms and conditions here.
Accessibility
Our aim is to bring printmaking to as many people as possible. By their nature, some printmaking processes involve an amount of physical effort. Seacourt Print Workshop is on street level, and is accessible through the front doors in a wheelchair. It is fully wheelchair accessible, larger than standard doors and disabled toilet facilities. We recognise that everybody’s accessibility needs may differ, therefore please email us at hello@seacourtprintworkshop.com to discuss any concerns you may have before booking.
