Introduction to Lino printing - Weekend Workshop 10-4pm Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July
This course is all about lino: the material, the tools, how to cut it, and how to print it. We will look at how to prepare the surface of lino, transfer a drawing onto it, cut safely, and print using a Victorian hand press.
A major part of the course will focus on cutting, in particular how to create tone, texture and the use of directional marks. We will also look at lino tools and how to keep them sharp.
This course will be equally suitable for a person new to printmaking and one who has cut lino before.
If I can't attend can I get a refund?

What if the course is cancelled?
We reserve the right to cancel the course for any reason (for example, insufficient bookings). We will endeavour to give at least 7 days notice if the course is cancelled and in the event of cancellation we will, of course, issue you a full refund. Please refer to full terms and conditions here.
Accessibility
Our aim is to bring printmaking to as many people as possible. By their nature, some printmaking processes involve an amount of physical effort. Seacourt Print Workshop is on street level, and is accessible through the front doors in a wheelchair. It is fully wheelchair accessible, larger than standard doors and disabled toilet facilities. We recognise that everybody’s accessibility needs may differ, therefore please email us at hello@seacourtprintworkshop.com discuss any concerns you may have before booking.
