Hand Cut Paper Stencil Screen Print one day workshop
Friday 21st August 10am-4pm
£90 (all materials included)
This is a fun and informative one day workshop, where you will learn the basics of screen printing using a paper stencil to create a positive and negative artwork, which will be used to expose onto a screen and print a two colour screen print. Perfect for those who want an enjoyable alternative day out with friends and for those considering a more in depth screen printing course.
What experience do I need?
This course is suitable for the beginner, however people with a background in graphic design maybe be particularly interested.
What will I make?
Each participant will make a two colour screen print using paper cut stencils. You will be guided through the screen making process, mixing inks then printing your design.
Do I need to bring anything?
Basic materials including inks and paper will be provided. Wear something you don’t mind getting inky, or bring an apron - however there are some here to borrow too. No open toed shoes please! If you have some reference drawings, that would be useful too.
If I can't attend can I get a refund?
We will refund you if you cancel no less than 14 days before the course, after this time no refunds will be issued. Please note Ticket Tailor's booking fee is non refundable. By making a booking you are agreeing to our full course terms and conditions which can be found on our website here.
What if the course is cancelled?
We reserve the right to cancel the course for any reason (for example, insufficient bookings). We will endeavour to give at least 7 days notice if the course is cancelled and in the event of cancellation we will, of course, issue you a full refund. Please refer to full terms and conditions here.
Accessibility
Our aim is to bring printmaking to as many people as possible. By their nature, some printmaking processes involve an amount of physical effort. Seacourt Print Workshop is on street level, and is accessible through the front doors in a wheelchair. It is fully wheelchair accessible, larger than standard doors and disabled toilet facilities. We recognise that everybody’s accessibility needs may differ, therefore please email us at info@seacourt-ni.org.uk to discuss any concerns you may have before booking.
