Samhain 🔥 Fire Ritual & Ecstatic Dance Gathering

Join the tribe for a unique evening of fire ritual and ecstatic dance, held with the love of community, at the beautiful Bridge Farm Bristol. 

Guided by New Paradigm & Seagypsee, we'll set a powerful intention by the open fire. We'll connect with our intuition and the deepest mystery of life. As we gather in ritual to expand our hearts, we will dance SOBER & FREELY. There will be time for silence, contemplation, for journeying into the depths, for celebration and sharing.

Fire Ritual
7.30-7.45pm

Samhain marks the end of the summer, a time to reflect on the growth and experiences of the past season and welcome in the oncoming winter frosts. The fire ritual held in circle by New Paradigm will be the portal between the worlds, connecting us to the flames of our ancestors and future descendants. As we dance into the night, our intention is to honour our past, our future and our present with gratitude, hope and love.

Ecstatic Dance w/ Cacao Activation
7.45-9.45pm

The set will be dj'd live and guided by Seagypsee, DJ and facilitator at Mystic Cocoon and The Wild Woman Project. It will be a deep dive into the ecstatic mystery. We'll move, sweat, breathe, release and explore the layers that make up the whole. Expect to party to gorgeous tunes from tribal house, afro, psytrance, world music, techno, folktronika, unexpected classics revisited with an ethnic touch & crazy grooves...

🌊 Unlike clubbing, ecstatic dance sets are built like "waves" moving from slow and mellow, to very dynamic and everything else in between; gently guiding you to stretch your body and mind in many directions, to experience the vast spectrum of your emotions with mindfulness and wild abandon. Most of the time when people dance it is to look good to others, but here, we dance to connect with our authentic natural selves.

🎧 We use wireless headphones to be immersed in the best quality sound possible!

About the Cacao Activation

At the beginning of this session, we will introduce ceremonial cacao. As well as being incredibly delicious, ceremonial cacao helps us to ground, enhance our dance experience and open our hearts. It can also gently guide us to connect with hidden dimensions of ourselves. At Mystic Cocoon we prepare cacao with great respect for the indigenous wisdom keepers of this master plant medicine, infusing it with prayers, songs and love during the whole preparation process ✨

As we sip Ceremonial Cacao with intention and through a guided meditation to open our hearts, we will call in an intention for our dance. The effects of cacao can vary from one person to another, but you can expect an improvement of mood and pleasure, stimulation of mental alertness and heart expansion.

Closing Circle
9.45-10pm

We gather in circle to close the evening. This is a chance to feel connected in peace as a tribe. We tune into what is present within us, share and receive others experience with authenticity and non judgment. There will also be a chance to talk more by the fire after the dance.

Bridge Farm Bristol

🌿 We'll gather and dance in the beautiful Bridge Farm Bristol with an open fire. There is a possibility of dancing either outdoors or indoors. Bridge Farm is about Living with The Land, in Community. It is a lively and bubbling community of crafters, cookers, entertainers and educators sensitively working, with trees, flowers, vegetables, fruit and animals working alongside wildlife corridors at the heart of Bristol.

Sea Gypsee is an Ecstatic Dance DJ and facilitator on a mission to inspire people to say YES to living a wild life and boldly engage in our path with heart and soul. By re-connecting deeply with our the deliciousness of our inner body wisdom and through the dynamic practice of the 5 elements, Seagypsee facilitate powerful, tender and moving soulscapes to feel free and feel ourselves from within.
Her sonic journeys are a mix of ethnic and tribal beats, folktronika, deep house, world music, drum n'bass, dub, medicine songs that weave a return to love, eros, tribe and nature. An somatic meditative dance to explore our edges, uplift our spirits and rejuvenate from the inside out.

Seagypsee holds monthly Ecstatic Dances and cacao ceremonies in Wales at Mystic Cocoon. She also creates offerings at conscious festivals such as Boomtown, All About Love, Medicine Festival, Anthropos among others, as well as holding embodiment retreats in France.

New Paradigm

New Paradigm brings the Sacred Flame. A collection of creatives that ignite creative authentic expression through holding intentional fires. We aim to spread truth and joy through music, movement and intuitional worship.
