"how people leave" by Sea Legs Dance
"how people leave" by Sea Legs Dance
Sea Legs Dance presents "how people leave" an evening of contemporary dance exploring the many ways people leave and, by doing so, shape our lives. Through contemporary dance, relational stories are weaved together by the healing, growth, and transformation that grows out of absence.
Inspired by the poem “The Uses of Sorrow” by Mary Oliver:
Someone I loved once gave me
a box full of darkness.
It took me years to understand
that this, too, was a gift.
