DISC Behavioural Studies - Level 1
Train-The-Trainer Certification Program
...for teachers, coaches, consultants, facilitators, trainers, managers and business leaders.
“As an entrepreneur who has owned and operated over 20 businesses in the past 40 years, I would have to say that becoming a certified DISC trainer has been THE single most useful thing I've done since I qualified as a Chartered Accountant. I used to get totally frustrated with some of my team members ... Now I understand why they behaved the way they did. My only regret is that I didn't do the DISC training earlier. It would have made a huge difference to the way I approached the problems I encountered and saved me lots of time, energy and money!” Patsy Lim FCA
Why you should be in the room for this program
Have you ever found yourself in any of these situations:
Chances are your answer to at least one of these questions is yes. Humans are described as “individuals” for a reason. We’re all wired in different ways. So, it’s not surprising that we behave in different ways. Figuring out what makes others tick can be challenging. Figuring out what makes you tick can be equally difficult.
What if you could use a human GPS as a guide to connect with and build relationships with others — by design rather than chance? What if you could gain insights into your own behaviour and then modify it to get along better in different situations? Wouldn’t life be better and easier?
If the answer to any of these questions is, yes, the unique DISC Behavioural Studies - Level 1 Train-The-Trainer Certification Program is for you.
“I work in the government sector, providing financial support to people who are managing large, complicated budgets and dealing with ongoing and complex situations and stakeholder relationships. Wendy's insight helped me to focus on the really important, foundational work of leadership and team culture. Taking an active leadership role, building up and motivating the people in my team, have become priorities for me.” Victoria, Executive, Public Service.
This unique program will give you the tools and insights you need to deal with others effectively and to heighten your own self-awareness. In the space of two days, you’ll learn how to:
Equip yourself for success in all of your relationships
You’ll start your DISC training by learning why people often behave the way they do. Then, you’ll learn how to apply key behavioural insights to understand and deal with human behaviour. The final result? You’ll walk away equipped to make a positive impact on all your relationships, professional or personal.
During Level 1, you’ll cover the DISC Model of Human Behaviour. This framework is based on the work of William Marston, a psychologist and inventor who developed DISC theory in the early 20th century. Marston argued that people largely behave in predictable patterns. He illustrated his theory with a chart that showed basic personality profiles divided among four quadrants. Today, people still rely on Marston’s ideas to understand themselves as well as to analyse and respond to how others think, feel and act.
"Without a doubt, the best training I have ever experience of human behaviour - quality, concise and on target - Excellent return on my investment." - Robert "Boomer" Brown, PhD at Miller-Motte College
