3 Bears Cave Swim

With the water still a tad chilly, this is a great way to start the season, with a stunning shorter distance swim. 

Our famous 3 Bears Caves Swim, with a short swim over to the mermaid pool first (if the conditions allow). 3 stunning caves, swim from 1200m...additional distance available, if required. 

Swims at 9.30am. If you don't see me in the car park, we'll meet on the beach. Allow a walk from the car park of around 5-10 minutes to the beach. From the car park you go through the gate and take an immediate right turn (sign post shows the way to the beach). There's then a coastal path, that is a little steep but perfectly manageable...there is a slight scramble at the bottom of the coastal path, ensure you take your time...it's probably worth bum shuffling down this section a little and wearing decent footwear. We do it with the kids fairly frequently, so again it is very manageable.

*At present, there is a bit of a scramble onto the beach. Make sure you take your time and avoid the green and wet sections, as they'll be slippery. You also need to take a little care going through the shallows, as it's a tad rocky down there...but nothing too bad. 

There aren't any facilities on the beach, so bring any hot drinks or snack...

This swim will be a very leisurely pace. Any quicker swimmers are welcome to double back.
