Short-notice swim Membership 2021

We hold a number of weekend and midweek swims throughout the summer. These are typically published with 3 days notice, as the swims are selected based on the short-term forecasted conditions. Swims are generally based in west Cornwall...although we will try to get a little further afield on occasion for summer 2021. Swims are generally 1-3 km in length...we'll look to hold separate swims targeted at 'open water swimmers' 2-3km and 'wild swimmers' 1- 2km. 

When we first introduced the short-notice swims we assumed that the bulk of the participants would be tourists. We what actually found is that we got lots of returning locals. So this year we'll cater for locals. A £15 annual membership will entitle the member to a 1/3 discount...so you'll make a saving after just 2 swims! We can't guarantee how many swims we'll do over the summer but we should reach 10 at the very least! Swims will typically take place on a Sat-Sun or a Thurs-Fri evening. The discount also applies to any swim coaching. These one off  swims typically cost £30. 

Swims last year included : St Michael's Mount, Porthcurno, Penberth Cove, Kynance Cove, Cadgwith, Lamorna Cove, Prussia Cove, the odd night swim, Carbis Bay, Porthkidney, Nanjizal, Porthgwarra, the Gannel Estuary... 

We'll introduce a ticket option in our online shop where you can purchase your entry to the swims. This won't require your full details each time but if your medical info does change over the course of the summer you need to let us know. 

Membership can be purchased any time during the summer, obviously it'll be more beneficial making the purchase early in the summer.
