Seed: Designing a Slogan

How do you express your political ideas clearly in a memorable message with resonance and challenges? Learn what goes into building an effective slogan. Experiment with your own and leave with a handful of stickers bearing your slogan.
Bloom: Designing a Poster

Location: 115 Queen St. W.
How do you design a political poster that catches people’s eye and inspires action? Learn about the elements of poster design using collage images. Take inspiration from a slogan from the Seed session and design an image that brings that idea to life.
Spread: Making Wheatpaste
Tuesday, June 30th, 6:30-8:30 PM
Location: 60 Lowther Ave.
How do you spread the word without a big marketing budget? Learn to make wheatpaste, a simple inexpensive way to put up posters in your community. You’ll go home with your own wheatpaste and posters designed in the Bloom session.
Materials Cost per session: minimum $5, Pay What You Want beyond.
Locations: downtown core, transit and wheelchair accessible, details sent to registered participants.
Masking encouraged, masks provided.
All ages welcome, child-minding available.
