An Introduction to ‘Self Regulation through Breath’.

November Parent Training:
We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming November session in the SEEDLING Parent Training series, focusing on Conscious Connected Breathwork as a tool for supporting wellbeing. This gentle yet powerful practice introduces parents and caregivers to a variety of breathing patterns that can help regulate the body, reduce stress, and create space for integration of experiences.

Overview
This 1.5-hour online session will be facilitated by Rachael, whose professional background is in counselling and psychotherapy. Her passion lies in somatic practice, supporting individuals to understand body signals and integrate experiences through breath and other holistic practices. Rather than a full in-depth breathwork journey, this workshop will guide participants through different patterns of conscious connected breathing, exploring how each can support the body in and accessible ways. The focus will be on experiencing the breath at your own pace, with no expectation to push beyond what feels right for you.
Parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to:
- Explore a range of breathing techniques and bring awareness to the current state of the individuals nervous system.
- Discover what feels safe, supportive, and grounding for their own body.
- Experience how consciously connecting with the breath can create shifts in energy, awareness, and wellbeing.
- Learn how gentle and mindful breathing practices can be used as tools for calming, integrating, and supporting everyday challenges.
In addition to practicing various breathing patterns, the session will also include:
- A short, guided meditation to deepen awareness of the breath within the body.
- information piece about recognising body signals.
- A closing visual meditation with conscious breath to help integrate the experience in a restorative way.
This is a supportive space with no pressure or expectation whether you remain with
gentle breathing, explore, or try deeper patterns, all choices are equally
valid. Your comfort and wellbeing will always be the priority.
