For centuries, tea has been used by Daoist sages and Buddhist monks as a tool for alchemy, cultivation, and transformation.
You’re warmly invited into a Sensory Tea Ceremony rooted in Cha Dao - the Way of Tea. This gathering offers a gentle invitation to slow down, soften, and return to the felt experience of being in the body, guided by the quiet medicine of tea.
The ceremony unfolds as a simple, intentional journey: an opening introduction, a shared tea ceremony held largely in silence, and a closing space for reflection and optional sharing. Through stillness and presence, participants are invited to connect deeply with the senses - taste, aroma, warmth, breath, and subtle inner movement - allowing the tea to guide awareness from the head into the heart.
The intention of this ceremony is not to analyse or perform, but simply to be: to feel, sense, and inhabit the human body fully; to slow down; and to connect with nature through the Leaf. Tea becomes a living bridge between inner and outer worlds, offering a quiet yet powerful space for grounding, listening, and remembrance.
About the facilitator: Lera is a devoted Student of the Leaf, with many years of practice in the Cha Dao tradition. Drawing on the Chadao lineage of Global Tea Hut, alongside practices such as nervous system work, breathwork, dance, and subtle energy healing, Lera holds tea spaces as gentle journeys into presence.
