Service Design Jam Berlin

It is that time of the year!

On the 24th - 26th of April 2026, people who are interested exploring, experiencing and learning about service design will meet in Berlin for the  Service Design Jam! We will be open for around 50 design enthusiasts and design-curious who are eager to learn new methods and tools and share their experiences. Seriously, all levels of experience from none to pro are welcome!

🇩🇪(Also, if your English isn't as good as your German, don't be discouraged, we will make it as easy as possible for you)

In a spirit of experimentation, co-operation and friendly competition, teams will have 48 hours to develop service design innovations inspired by a shared theme.

How does it work?

You will be collaborating with a small, diverse team (generally 5-6 people) coached by a highly experienced and professional designer and facilitator. This means, you will learn techniques, structures and new ways of tackling complex problems. 
Your group will bring innovative ideas to life using design methods like assumption statements, personas, affinity mapping, in-person interviews, physical prototyping, testing, and refinement. And if some of these terms sound unfamiliar: don’t worry! The jam is the perfect place to learn. Our coaches will guide you every step of the way, and we’re thrilled to welcome curious newcomers.
