Join us for a cozy, hands-on workshop at Bunk Hotel and craft your own Mizuhiki 'Awaji Knot' Bookmark!

Mizuhiki is a traditional Japanese paper cord craft with centuries of history. Among its many designs, the Awaji Knot (あわじ結び) is one of the most classic and symbolic knots. Because both ends pull together tightly when tugged, it represents strong bonds and connection.

In this 1-hour session, you will learn the fundamental knotting technique and combine colorful Mizuhiki cords with elegant gold hardware to create a stylish, functional bookmark to take home or gift to a loved one.
