The Rocky Horror Show LIVE
Seven Ages Theatricals, Sheboygan’s own Indie theatre company, in association with Marcus 5, is shivering with antici…..* to present a revival of their previously sold-out run of The Rocky Horror Show LIVE this Halloween. 7AT is especially thrilled to be collaborating with iconic venue 3 Sheeps Brewing Company as our host, joining together everyone’s favorite combination: sexiness, lowered inhibitions, and BEER! Plus, of course, there are cider and NA options.
The locally star-studded cast is headed up by Levi “Lucky” Jones as Dr. Frank N’ Furter, aided and abetted by Kit Evans as Riff Raff, Andrea Covey as Magenta, and Danielle Rammer as Colombia. Jardin Fontaine and Berta Meyer are the star-cross’d, whitebread lovers Brad and Janet, with Jeremy Lee as Eddie, Tara Jackson as the Narrator, Daniel Byrne-Szafoni as the titular Rocky, and Kiana Liesch, Brandon Otten, and Matthew Shufflebotham as the Phantoms. Seven Ages Artistic Director Tom Berger directs, music directs, and choreographs his 10th (!) Rocky with Lee Koeppen and Tara Jackson handling design and Trudy Berger stage managing. Larry Marcus of Marcus 5 co-produces and also appears as Dr. Scott.
The show will run at 3 Sheeps Brewing Company October 30th at 10 p.m., and November 1st at midnight. In honor of the iconic film’s 50th anniversary, Halloween’s performance will feature a screening of the movie at 10 p.m. with the live show taking the stage at midnight. While audience participation is a time-honored aspect of Rocky Horror, verbal participation is highly encouraged but we do ask that patrons refrain from throwing or squirting (anything) onto the stage as Berger’s choreography will ensure serious injury or death if any foreign entity is introduced into the playing space. While that would be fun, we’d like the cast to survive the run.
Patrons should be aware that The Rocky Horror Show contains mature sexual themes and has a Queer and Trans-positive perspective, so if one would be offended by such things, one is invited to bugger off. Be assured that no one is naked but some folks will come awful close, so kindly leave your inhibitions (and children under 16) at home. Your ticket will also require a two-drink minimum but 7AT feels a little lubrication is good for the soul at such a performance.
Tickets can be purchased online at the 7AT website or at the door but it is anticipated that the show will sell out so advanced sales are encouraged.
