Bags and more - 5 week after school sewing club for 8+ year olds - Make a purse, customise a make-up bag, bag challenge

Get everything organised with this bags and more workshops with Mell over a 5 week course.

Dates: Thursday 18th, 25th September, 2nd, 9th, 16th October

Times: 4:30-6pm

Location: Lark design make, Cathays. 

Your child will learn how to use a sewing machine to make a phone pouch/purse, customise a round drawstring make-up bag and upcycle denim clothing to make a bag or your child's choice. Sewing machines are provided but your child is welcome to bring their own if they'd prefer, this club is suitable to beginners or those with experience as the groups are small and the tasks can be adapted to suit their abilities. They will be guided through all the steps from ironing, sewing each piece & customising all of their bags, they will have developed a wide range of sewing skills by the end of week 5. ;-) 

Sewing materials and equipment are included in the price, squash and biscuits will be available to keep them going after a busy day at school ;-)
