At this point, Anja Ngozi feels like part of the Shai family. Across two Grounded sessions and two listening sessions, she’s taken us into a musical world that is deep, delicate and constantly surprising, each time we’ve come away hearing something differently. Anja is a producer, DJ, composer and visual artist whose work stretches far beyond the booth, from creating soundtracks for spaces including Tate Modern, the ICA and V&A to leading her own collective, Síbín.

Shai Space is a grassroots music venue in South East London dedicated to intentional experiences through music, food, and connection. Shai blends the quality of a listening space with the warmth of a friend's living room. A place where artists and audiences come together to slow down, share space, and feel deeply.

Shai Space has step-free access to the main area, though please note the toilet is located at the top of a flight of stairs. Seating can be arranged flexibly where needed, and we’re always happy to help – please get in touch in advance with any accessibility requirements.
