Album Listening: Jamz Supernova presents Dance Around The World

Jamz Supernova's new compilation on Mr Bongo, out 16 October, traces a single day across the globe in 16 tracks. It moves from Réunion Island and Colombia's Pacific coast to Cape Town, Rio, Guadeloupe and Trinidad, each track from an artist or scene she has a personal connection to.

We'll hear it in full, in the order it was made to be heard. The first half, the Day side, is sun-soaked and rooted in storytelling. Jamz then sits down to talk about the project and the artists behind it. Lenna Bahule, whose "Tulamie" features on the record, performs a short acoustic set and joins Jamz in conversation. The Night side, heavier and more rhythmic, closes the evening, followed by a signing.
