Romeo and Juliet

This year’s Signature Shakespeare production is William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, a new production for a new generation. We last presented this play in 2014, featuring a cast of performers drawn from local high schools. This year’s revival will feature a mix of new and familiar actors, many of whom got their start in Shakespeare in Paradise, among them Gabriel Decius, Jasmine Anderson, Kentario McKenzie, T-Day, Brentwood Thompson, and others, including several newcomers. Sarah Burnett directs, following her tour de force production of Hamlet in 2024, assisted by Dorian McKenzie.
