Gift yourself or a loved one, a day spent immersed in connection with Spirit, to birth your own totally unique shamanic/medicine drum and beater. This will be a 16" drum using ethically sourced natural deer skin from Scotland and an ash or maple hoop.  We will be working with the energies of the Worm Moon and Equinox. Lots of fabulous energies along with each individual drum soul coming in.

We will connect via journeying and ceremony to the spirit of the deer and your new incoming drum soul.  Working to birth your new drumming partner via the portal of your own heart.

I provide all the materials you require, including sticks for the beaters.  However, if you have a stick you have collected that you would like to use for the beater, please do bring that along.  If you would like to include a crystal or stone in the rear of your drum, please bring this with you, I suggest something around 4cm ish in size.  Also, if you would like to include plant allies in your soaking waters, to infuse those energies also, please do bring some along.  Whatever you feel calling, to come in on that day, is welcome.

You will be working with the skins, to cut out your circle and strings, make the holes, then lace up the drum.  The whole process is yours from beginning to end.  I will demonstrate how to build a drum from one that has been pre-cut to save time, but I will be with you, holding you, supporting you, throughout the whole process.

I will do my best to keep us on track to finish by 5pm, but that very much depends on how the day flows, and any challenges or processes that may come along, so I recommend planning in some flexibility for travel/evenings.

All materials are provided.  Hot and cold drinks and snacks provided.  Please bring your own lunch.
