A full weekend retreat running 10am to 5pm each day.

This weekend retreat will take you deep into exploring the four directions and the four elements, and to learning more about how to work in ceremony. You will create your own Personal Medicine Wheel of Connection and other sacred tools to be in divine unity and develop self healing and supportive ways of being.

Medicine wheels, stone circles, drums, mandalas...the circle, the symbol of unity and infinity with no beginning or end carries meaning through our all our ancient cultures across the globe. Free flow, harmony and enlightenment exist within them.

Indigenous cultures believed the circle/wheel/hoop, represented inter-connectivity; the alignment of emotional, physical, spiritual and mental realities. Often divided into four segments Native Americans would attribute elemental, directional meaning to each, including plant and animal allies, seasons, developmental phases and more.

The Celtic Wheel, Wheel of the Year represents a form of compass, a way of moving through life. Traveling life, death and re-birth. Navigating life by living in harmony with the natural world around us and ourselves. Celebrating stages with festivals.

As many of us no longer have a direct knowing of our ancestral heritage, we may yearn for a deeper connection and meaning in life; to our environment and a feeling of belonging, purpose and of being held safely in this life. Working with a Personal Wheel of Connection is a meaningful way of stepping back into that flow of life and back to our core selves. Falling back in love. Asking ourselves, how do I relate to life, to the world around me? Learn the meaning that is held for you in developing your relationship with each of the four elements and directions including plant allies, power animals, seasons ......and more.

Rather than looking to find meaning in a specific tradition, instead being inspired by them to learn how to unlock support, guidance and healing from the spirit world around us in a way that is unique and personal to us, teaches us more about ourselves and brings us to a deeper sense of wholeness and sovereignty. Taking us back to love, honoring and gratitude of ourselves, and all that is.

Tools we will use:

Journeying, Sound, Meditation, Movement, Writing, Drawing, Drumming, Singing.

You will leave with:

Visual Wheel of Connection, your own personal ceremonial prayer/s, healing stones and an understanding of how to use them, a deep connection with your Wheel, understand how to open and close space for others and yourself, have deepened your understanding of your core essence, having used your voice as a tool for connection.
