Don Basilio Payaguaje and Do Gilberto–two well-known Yajé drinkers–of the Siekopai (Secoya)–the Multi-color people tribe–of the Ecuadorian Amazon, with Josep Rosa and Itzhak Beery, are inviting you to their Auguarico river for a special Zoom gathering. Live from the Amazon.
Elder Basilio his family and Don Gilberto (for the first time with us) are excited to share their Yajé traditions. How do they prepare it? What is the Renewal Ceremony that preceded it. Where their knowledge comes from, what are the healing properties, and much more. A truly rare event! The family will be canoeing to a river’s WiFi post to share their rainforest teaching and wisdom with you. Please join us and support them.
