Online, Zoom
Description
The jungle and its people have a lot to teach us how to live in sustainability, peace, and harmony. Join us as we once again host Supay Pishku, the grandson of Amazonian Kichwa Shaman Don Sabino Gualinga from the Sarayaku community of Ecuador in prayers, music, ceremonies, and wisdom teachings.
A recording will be available to all ticket holders for 14 days. The event will start at 11am New York. Please check your local time zone.
Supay Pishku (Jose Juan Gualinga) is initiated into the Amazonian Kichwa wisdom path by his legendary grandfather Don Sabino Gualinga (100 years old). He is also part Shuar by his mother's side. This unique family is at the forefront of the Amazonian indigenous human rights fight and the resistance to the oil companies' exploitation. Supay intimately knows the jungle’s ways. He is an expert in plant medicine, legends, and traditional stories of his tribe.
