Join us for a full-day elemental experience exploring Zouk-Fusion through solo movement, partnered spirals, and community connection. Each workshop is themed around an element—designed to unlock your expressive range and deepen your embodiment.

Workshop: Rooted Power – Break Foundations & Centered Solos

Tap into grounded strength and rhythm through breakdance-inspired movement. This workshop bridges floorwork, isolations, and center-driven dynamics—giving you tools to harness power and control through your core.

Workshop: Infinity Flow – Spirals, Head Movement & Liquid Expression
Instructor: Evelyn Lopez
Move like water—fluid, spiraled, and free. Evelyn guides you through her signature solo flow practice with an emphasis on head movement, body waves, and expressive spirals.

💫 About Evelyn

Evelyn is one of the most sought-after Brazilian Zouk artists and dance instructors worldwide. Born in Transylvania, raised in the Netherlands, and now living in Valley Springs, CA, her journey with Zouk began in 2006 and has taken her to global stages.

She has taught and performed with Zouk legends like Pasty, Adilio Porto, MafieZouker, and Xandy Liberato. Evelyn’s philosophy is simple yet profound:

"Surrendering in the moment with a balanced mental and physical state, combining creativity through inner beauty, while existing in harmony with the music."

Evelyn’s teaching inspires dancers to express from their hearts, moving from a place of unconditional love for self and others.

🌟 About Derrick

Born in Hawaii, Derrick’s dance journey began with breakdancing in California in the early 90s. His mastery of power moves (windmills, air-flares, halos) developed strength, flexibility, and body awareness. With roots in Ballistik Crew, Waikiki B-Boys, 808 Breakers, and SoulShiftersCrew, Derrick's B-Boy lineage is rich with community, creativity, and support.

Expanding into House dance, Calisthenics, and Yoga, Derrick's movement journey evolved holistically. His entry into Zouk came through a serendipitous photoshoot in 2016, leading to a fated meeting with Evelyn—his future wife and dance partner.

💞Together, Derrick & Evelyn blend tradition with innovation, inviting dancers to explore breath, creativity, and self-nourishment through movement.
