Sawing 101 - How to Cut Wood Safely

DIY and power tools can feel intimidating when no one’s ever shown you the ropes — so we’ve created a hands-on workshop series designed to give you the confidence and know-how to tackle real jobs in your own home.

The third workshop in the series is: Sawing 101 - How to Cut Wood Safely

In this 1.5 hour workshop you'll learn how to use a hand and jig saw with practical experiences, have an opportunity to ask questions and enjoy a cuppa. By the time you leave, you should feel confident to safely use a hand and jig saw to cut wood. If you have your own saws, we suggest that you bring them along to practice with. If you don't have them, we'll have plenty available for you to borrow on the day.

This series is open to everyone. Please note: workshops aren’t suitable for children under 16, but teens aged 14+ may attend when booked with a full-paying adult.
