Community Energy Workshop
Join us for a collaborative session focused on bringing renewable energy and energy efficiency to faith buildings across the Sheffield city area.
This event might also be useful for people with responsibility for community centres.
What is Community Energy?
Community energy is about taking collective action to move away from fossil fuels. Whether it’s generating our own clean power or finding ways to reduce energy use, it’s a grassroots way to reduce our impact on the natural world.
Why Attend?
By bringing together people from across Sheffield’s diverse faith communities, we aim to:
- Lower Costs: Discover how new energy schemes can significantly reduce utility bills.
- Increase Comfort: Learn practical ways to make our historic and modern buildings warmer and more welcoming.
- Connect & Fund: Meet local community energy experts and explore the funding opportunities available to kickstart your project.
- Protect the natural world: Learn how we can better use our building resources to protect the environment and support our neighbours
