Volunteer Work Morning: Wildlife Gardening at Victoria Hall

Volunteer work morning - join us at 10 am and stay for an hour or the whole morning - whatever help you can give is appreciated.

Practical hands-on conservation work. Come and join us in the garden to carry out the gardening jobs and learn about wildlife friendly gardening

Gloves, tools, and refreshments are provided, but please wear suitable rough outdoor clothing, including waterproofs, sun hats, trousers and long sleeves and sturdy footwear, and bring some lunch and water. Please be aware there are no toilet facilities on site.

Are you 14 to 17 and would like to volunteer on a work day? Please get in touch in advance with us on nature.reserves@wildsheffield.com so that relevant forms are filled in beforehand and the work day is suitable. If you are 14 - 15 you must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If you are 16 - 17 you will need to have a parental consent form.

If you have a caution, unspent conviction or spent conviction that is not defined as protected, as part of our duty of care we have a process that we need to follow before we can decide whether to accept your application to volunteer. Please therefore do NOT sign up via our ticket system but instead contact volunteering@wildsheffield.com to discuss next steps.
