Get recruitment support from the STH Employability Team!

Our community NHS Career/Employability Workshops are designed to open your eyes to the world of NHS Careers & Apprenticeships, and offer you support and guidance when applying for roles via Trac (NHS Jobs) and interviewing for NHS roles. These workshops are generalised and therefore do not focus on one specific role, however we will delve into various NHS careers and will be on hand to guide you in the right direction. Our workshops will share top tips for completing "shortlistable" applications and succeeding at Interview.

This is a series of workshops, starting with an Introduction to Entry-level Careers & Apprenticeships in the NHS on Monday 17th February.
The second workshop will be an Employability Session on Monday 31st March. This workshop will cover application & interview guidance as well as upcoming employability programmes and opportunities to gain access to roles.

About the event series:

We are hosting these sessions in the community of Wybourn. The full address is: Pat Midgley Community Hub, 331 Manor Oaks Rd, Sheffield S2 5EE.

At each session, we’ll share information about NHS recruitment. We are part of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and so our workshops are inspired by our recruitment methods however we do offer general support and guidance for the approaches typically used across the NHS.

At the workshops you'll also find out about our Trust's values and why they are important.

There will also be the chance to ask questions and get tailored advice should you need any.

If you need support immediately please check out our other events or contact us for support/resources on sth.employability@nhs.net.

Who should attend:

The event is ideal for anyone interested in gaining employment with the NHS, particularly those who aren't sure what role they could do or who struggle with applications/interviews.

Although the learning covered can be applied across all roles, clinical & non-clinical, at any level, we believe the content is most suitable for anyone applying to roles Bands 2-6.
