Ticket Pricing
We want as many as people as possible to attend the festival and don't want ticket prices to be a barrier. At the same time, we need to raise enough money to cover costs, such as hiring the venue. We've put together a sliding scale of ticket prices so that we can raise the money we need, without pricing anyone out.
When booking a place, we would ask that you select the ticket that you can afford:
- £15 Standard Festival Ticket: This is what our budget says we need to charge to cover the event.
- £20 Solidarity Festival Ticket: If you are comfortable and have a decent income, please consider paying a little more.
- £8 Low Income Festival Ticket: For people on lower incomes who cannot afford the full ticket price.
- £0 No Charge: For people who have no disposable income at all. Free tickets are also available to carers attending with a ticketholder, and children and young people.
Merchandise
We've teamed up with Black Lodge Press to pay homage to The People's Republic of South Yorkshire. Celebrate South Yorkshire's history of radicalism with iconic designs available as:
- A3 prints for £10
- T-shirts for £15
- Tote bags for £12.
Purchases can be made for a limited time on our online shop or in person at the festival. Proceeds from sales will help cover the cost of the Sheffield Transformed Festival and our future events.
Accessibility and Safer Spaces
Throughout the process of planning the festival, accessibility has been central to our decision making and, as many event planners will know, finding a large venue which is fully accessible in the city is incredibly difficult. Our chosen venue SADACCA offers many wonderful spaces in the heart of a fantastic community and we have a very exciting and varied programme which we have planned across the whole space. Some of this space is accessed via a lift which is currently broken but was due to be fixed before our festival.
We’re very sorry to say that, for reasons beyond our or the venue’s control, we have been informed that it is highly unlikely that the lift will be repaired in time for the festival. As a result of this, some of the sessions in the programme will not be accessible. Due to sound control reasons and amplified music needing to remain on the 1st floor, this includes the Saturday night party.
Our tiered ticketing system means that attendees can choose the price of their ticket. If you feel that the lack of accessibility in these sessions will compromise your ability to get the most out of our festival, we encourage you to choose our ‘Free’ ticket option. If you’ve already purchased a ticket and you wish to get a refund, please contact us via email at sheffieldtransformed@gmail.com.
You can learn more about these accessibility issues and our efforts to address them in our full statement.
