Join us on Saturday 20th June to help build community resistance to the far right. We invite you to get organised!

In this interactive workshop, you will:

  • hear from those with lived experience of the UK's border regime and the hostile environment
  • learn about work that is already taking place in Sheffield to combat the rise of the far right
  • discuss how we can collectively organise in our communities for migrant justice.

Featuring speakers from Migrants Organise, Voice of Voiceless Immigration Detainees Yorkshire, and Lift the Ban.

While our day-to-day conditions worsen, Britain and its allies' continue their practices of imperial conquest, war, plunder and genocide, destroying lives and lands around the world. The rich get richer, erecting border walls in their wake, exploiting and exterminating those they see as disposable. Our communities have had enough: join us in fighting for a world where no one is left behind!

The event is free to attend but spaces are limited so please book a ticket to reserve your place!

Doors open at 10:30am for a prompt 11am start. Lunch and refreshments provided on a pay-what-you-can basis.

The event will take place in the Day Care section of SADACCA, which is to the rear of the building. The venue has level access and wheelchair accessible toilets.

This workshop has been organised with support from Cooperation Sheffield, South Yorkshire Migration and Asylum Action Group (SYMAAG) and Sheffield Transformed as part of the national Break Up the Border Weekend of Action.
