Visions - Online Session
Join Sheffield Transformed for an online session looking at themes raised at the mini festival. A space to chat, learn and take action, this session is aimed at anyone who couldn't attend the festival in person, or wanted more space to reflect. We want to include as many voices as possible and are hoping providing an online space will help us on that mission. Duration of the session is 1hr 45mins with a 15 minute comfort break half way through.
We are living through a time of intense political upheaval — in the UK and around the world. With the far right marching in the streets, Reform topping the polls, and imperialism causing incalculable devastation, it can be easy to feel despair at the state of the world.
Despite this, grassroots activists in South Yorkshire and across the globe continue to support their communities, fight oppression, and build alternatives to capitalism. Within this context, the Visions festival is a chance for the left in South Yorkshire to inspire each other, build our movement, and express our collective vision for the future!
This session is a summary of topics brought up at our mini festival on Saturday 19th September so we will not be able to fit all of the information from the in-person event, but we want our short online session will focus on exploring the general themes that came up throughout the festival.

Ticket Pricing
We want as many as people as possible to attend the session and don't want ticket prices to be a barrier. At the same time, we need to raise enough money to cover costs & help facilitate future sessions. The tickets for this session are donation based.
