Understanding Stress, Safety, and Regulation in Everyday Life
Many women are carrying chronic stress without realizing how deeply it impacts their bodies, emotions, relationships, and sense of presence.
This experiential morning gathering will introduce accessible nervous system concepts through a compassionate and practical lens. Together, we’ll explore the impact of chronic stress and allostatic load, how the body responds to overwhelm, and simple practices that support regulation, grounding, and restoration.
Participants will:
- Learn the basics of the nervous system and stress responses
- Understand fight, flight, freeze, and overwhelm through a compassionate lens
- Explore how stress impacts whole-person health
- Practice accessible grounding and regulation techniques
- Experience restorative reflection and community connection
