Plant Parenthood Detroit Chapter Integration Circle

Plant Parenthood is a community organization focused on exploring the intersection of modern parenting and the intentional use of psychedelics and plant medicines. Our in-person integration circle is a safe space for our community to gather, connect with other parents, share experiences, knowledge, insights, and provide gentle accountability for our peers.

This group will be lightly facilitated by Savannah and Shekita. While the group is open to all, we will be particularly focused on how psychedelics and psychedelic integration relate to parents. Themes for exploration may include:

How to talk to kids about plant medicines and psychedelics
Coping with stigma and shame in parent communities
Adolescents and teen use of psychedelics
Integration as a family process
Healing intergenerational trauma
Talking to your parents about psychedelics

Savannah
Astrologer, Doula, Medicine Woman.  Savannah is a spiritual leader and visionary educator committed to the remembrance of Earth-based magic and the rebirth of sacred feminine wisdom. As the founder of The Portal, a global sanctuary community for healers, and co-founder of the National Intuitive Academy, she mentors hundreds of rising mystics, intuitives, and change-makers into their power.
Through her work as a psychic medium and ceremonial facilitator, Savannah weaves ancestral practices, energetic mastery, and soul sovereignty to guide others home to themselves — and to a new paradigm of being rooted in compassion, intuition, and justice.

Shekita Long is a community doula, educator, and organizer dedicated to building safe, supportive spaces for families in Detroit and beyond. She runs her practice from her home where she works to connect parents, caregivers, and community members through integration circles, workshops, and collective dialogue. Her work bridges birthwork, grassroots organizing, and family wellness, with a focus on creating accessible and culturally relevant spaces for healing and connection. By bringing people together to share stories and resources, Shekita supports the growth of networks that strengthen families and communities.
