Join us for a day of women and girls rugby and celebration for International Women's Day on Sunday 8 March! 

• 9:00 - Under 16s Eastern Counties Tournament kicks off
• 10:00 - 12:00 - The Community Rugby Trophy Tour brings the world cup trophy to Shelford! Available for viewing and photos between 10 and 12 in the Clubhouse.
• 11:30 - Under 18s v Bedford kicks off
• 12:00 - 14:00 - Pre-Match Afternoon Tea 🍰 (tickets required in advance) - Sit-down afternoon tea with delicious sandwiches, scones & sweet treats & inspiring guest speakers. Optional free children’s sports activities add on to your ticket, led by club members, perfect for parents to relax and enjoy tea.
• 14:30 - Women’s 1st XV v Cannock Lionesses in Championship 2 Midlands league 
• Post-match - player awards, raffle and shirts auction.

The bar will be open all afternoon so come thirsty. Food vans serving throughout the day. Come to cheer on the Peacocks, and stay to celebrate with the teams after the final whistle!

Shelford Rugby club is wheelchair accessible and dog friendly. 

Parking will be tight on the day due to large numbers of people arriving at the club. We will have volunteers on site directing you to available spaces but please car-share or use public transport where possible. Our gameday one-way system will be in operation so please follow signs to exit the carpark via Westfield Road.
