Sheppy's House of Cider, TA4 1ER
Description
Come and learn all there is to know about Sheppy's with one of our Guided Tours and Tastings! Your experienced tour guide will take your group to visit one of our orchards, before showing you one of our vat houses, where we ferment and age our ciders and our press house. Finally you will have the chance to experience the 200 year history of Sheppy's Cider in our rural life museum, including a DVD of our cider making year.
Your tour will finish off with a fully tutored tasting of a selection of Sheppy's award winning Somerset ciders.
By visiting us in Autumn, the orchards are beginning to fruit. We normally start harvesting the apples from the end of September to the beginning of November. This can be a beautiful time to catch the orchards with freshness in the air. Although we cannot promise the weather conditions during your visit - our tour guides will do their best to cater the tour to the overall preference of the group. For example, if the weather is not as bright as we had hoped we may lead you to a different point in our orchards.
Things you need to know:

Our tours can be adapted for special circumstances, if you have any problems with accessibility please do let us know at the time of booking, this way we can ensure we include as much as possible for everyone.
