Shetland Fiddle Week | Finale Concert & Dance | Fri 8 Aug 2025 | Aith Public Hall

The finale event of Shetland Fiddle Week, part of the week of celebrations of the Shetland fiddle tradition. 

Join us for an evening of incredible local talent, featuring fiddler Iain Williamson, young Shetland band Filsket and high energy group of well known local talent Callum Watt, Ryan Couper, Adam Johnson, and Callum Nicolson, whose names form the band name CRAC. Our Fiddle Week students, some of whom have travelled from around the world including United States, Canada, Australia, India, will perform some pieces they've been working on during the week. 

The concert will also feature local story telling and folklore from Liz Tulloch, daughter of the late Lawrence Tulloch, who will compere the show. 

The night and the week will be rounded off with a traditional dance led by the Peter Wood Band.
