Intro to Shibari Score Notation
Taking notes of rope classes can be challenging. Different people use different formats, from just writing what happens, to taking photos step by step, to videos, to drawings, to mixes of approaches. A common problem a lot of people encounter is to then re-read these notes and be able to understand and make sense out of them later.
That’s why we have developed an open notation language: we wanted to find a way to write down sequences effectively, and create something that people can share and use to align, discuss, and improve.
From this introduction class you will learn the fundamentals of the Shibari Score Notation, a format developed by Anna Noctuelle over the years with the contribution of many people, and still growing. You will see how to take notes of basic sequences for your own personal use, and more.
