Dan Carabas from shibari.studio.berlin is hosting an intimate shibari beginner workshop for lovers in a safe and relaxed space in Berlin-Mitte. To ensure a certain intimacy, this group workshop is limited to 5 couples max.!


Often, we find ourselves more comfortable in one role than another, leading or following. An intimate rope session allows you to explore these dynamics and their impact on the magnetic attraction between you and your partner. Perhaps you yearn to surrender and be held in your vulnerability, yet struggle to let go of control? Shibari can be used for meditative, aesthetic or erotic reasons, however it is a powerful tool to open the pathway to one's inner self. Through the interplay of your bodies, the ropes and open communication, you can rediscover the vitality that flows between you and your partner, drawing you closer than ever before.

This workshop is an opportunity to dive deeper into the world of “ropes with intention” at your own pace. We begin with a check-in, where we explore your current emotional landscape and any intentions, concerns, or desires, regarding your personal rope journey.

• You have to come with a partner to attend this workshop.
• Please bring your own ropes, also a few ropes will be provided.
• Please bring your own blanket and comfortable clothing to move your body freely. 
• The workshop is held in German and English.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Dan Carabas known for his shibari art project METAMORPHIC SCULPTURES is an experienced shibari artist and photographer / film maker, working aesthetically with ropes for more than 8 years now. Based in Berlin, he founded shibari.studio.berlin in 2023 and started teaching what he calls “the art of shibari with intention”. A focused practice of tying your partner in an intimate and sensual way by building and holding a strong connection to your partner through the grip and tension of your ropes.
