The combination of Tantra and Shibari can be an intense and transformative experience, combining different aspects of consciousness and physical sensations.

In Tantra we work with the energies of Shiva/Shakti and Yin/Yang, while in Shibari we explore dynamics such as leadership/submission or control/ surrender. These complementary aspects enhance the experience and create a charged, intense tension between the partners.

• In intimate and playful exercises, we explore the commonalities of both practices, learn essential Shibari techniques and implement tantric methods to strengthen awareness and connection.
  
  
• This workshop offers you the opportunity to dive deeper into the world of Tantric-Shibari at your own pace and playfully experiment with intense dynamics. We will use specific examples to show you how you can vary and skilfully use these essential elements to create an intense session for you and your partner.

The number of participants is very limited, max. 10 couples / duos, therefore this is not a walk-in event, but only possible with a binding ticket booking and a confirmation email.

• You must come as a duo, but not necessarily as a couple.
• We recommend a very movement-friendly, playful outfit.
• Bring your own ropes if you have some.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Dan Carabas, renowned for his multidisciplinary art project METAMORPHIC SCULPTURES, is an experienced Shibari artist and instructor who has been working with ropes in an aesthetic and expressive manner for over a decade. Based in Berlin, he founded SHIBARI STUDIO BERLIN in 2024, where he began teaching what he describes as "the art of Shibari with intention." This focused practice emphasizes tying one’s partner in an intimate and sensual way, fostering a deep connection and meaningful communication through the ropes.
