Description: Japanese traditional and contemporary dance performance by Shiho Tendou featuring Kagura dance, Japanese Taiko, Opera, Flamenco guitar guest performers and more!
Shiho Tendou is a Traditional Japanese dance performer from Japan. You will be able to experience traditional Japanese beauty and culture through her dance. Displaying the inner spirit through dance is one of Shiho’s greatest passions as a performer.
One of the guest performer KOHAKU is a unique performance collaborative based in Sacramento that specializes in traditional and contemporary Japanese performing arts, such as Kagura dance (Sacred dance of Shinto shrines), Taiko drum and a variety of other celebrated cultural music and dance. Their beautiful and passionated Taiko Drum performance is must see!

創作日本舞踊パフォーマーのShihoによる創作日本舞踊をベースに、和太鼓、神楽等の日本の伝統芸能のユーモラスなコラボレーションをお楽しみください！天童流三代目として、日本から越してきたShihoは、今回初めてロサンゼルスでコンサートを開催します。ゲストには、北カリフォルニアで大活躍する、琥珀Kohakuを迎えます。女性では珍しい和太鼓・神楽パフォーマーとして人気のKohakuがロサンゼルスにやってくるのは初めてです！美しく力強いパフォーマンスは見ものです。
その他にも、芸者オペラシンガーとしてロサンゼルスで活躍するChinatsu, フラメンコギタリストとしてスペインで修行を積んだ、才能ある二人のミュージシャンを迎え、クリエイティブな新しい世界へと誘います。
聞き覚えのある日本の楽曲、日本の懐かしい伝統に触れていただける、とても刺激的で楽しいコンサートです。
