Shippensburg Fall Open

• Shippensburg Fall Open (Saturday, Sept. 21st, 2024)

NEW SECTION: PARKING AND PLAYING HALL INFO

Reminder: the Playing hall is in the Ceddia Union Building (CUB) in Room 119. Below I have a picture of part of the Shippensburg University map. Please park in parking lot C-7 to avoid getting ticketed. It is about a 1-minute walk to the CUB from there.

Additionally, click here for a photo of the Luhrs Performing Arts Center. When you park, the Luhrs Performing Arts Center should be just across the street, so that's a good landmark to help you find your way.
If you enter the CUB from the UPS entrance, you will have to go up a floor. If you enter from the side of the building facing Reisner Hall, you are already on the correct floor and should see a sign pointing in the direction of the playing hall. Additionally, there is an information desk and the employees there can also help direct you.

G/35;+5, 4SS (Game in 35 minutes with a 5 second increment. 4 Round Swiss)

Schedule: 

• Round 1 - 11:00am
• Round 2 - 12:45pm
• Lunch Break -  2:30pm (Chick-Fil-A in the building)
• Round 3 -  3:00pm
• Round 4 -  4:45pm
• Awards - 6:30pm

• 408 Lancaster Dr, Shippensburg, PA 17257
• Room 119 in the Ceddia Union Building in Shippensburg University 
• Free parking: Park in the C-7 parking lot (link to parking map: https://www.ship.edu/globalassets/visit/parkingmap.pdf)
  • C-7 is the lot opposing Luhrs Performing Arts Center. That will provide a good landmark. A day or two prior to the event, we will email all registered players a detailed guide on how to get to the playing hall.
