Shishukunj London Presents Raas Garba 2026

🎶 We are thrilled to welcome over 1,000 guests from our local communities for an unforgettable evening of Raas Garba. Expect lively singing and dancing, a soulful Aarti ceremony, exciting competitions, and mouth-watering food!

ℹ️ Please note the updated timings for this year’s Raas Garba:
Create & Decorate Pre- Event for under 10s: 2.00 PM - 2.45 PM
Focus on Under 10s Raas Garba: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Focus on Over 10s Raas Garba: 4:30 PM – 10:00 PM
All are welcome to attend the entire event!

🎨 Create and Decorate is back!
Calling all young creators aged 3–10! Join us for our beloved Create and Decorate event, where children can let their imaginations run wild and make their very own Raas Garba themed keepsake!
🕓 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Doors open at 1:45 PM; Last Entry at Door 2:05 PM; Last Entry at Create and Decorate stall 2:15 PM)
💷 Cost: £2.00 per child
📌 Note: all children must be supervised by an adult. Please bring a bag to take home your creations. Tote bags will not be provided. 

ℹ️ Additional Information

• All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult, and at least one adult ticket must be purchased per booking
• Venue staff may request valid ID at entry
• Light refreshments will be available for purchase; each Garba ticket includes one complimentary food token (up to the value of £2.00; excluding tickets for under 2s)
• Tickets will not be sold at the door
• Tickets are non-refundable. In the case of non-attendance, it will be considered as a donation. Tickets are non-transferable.

🥫 Food Bank Collection
Another key pillar of Shishukunj is SEWA – selfless service. Every month, Shishukunj supports a number of local food banks by donating £1000s worth of food.
On the day of Raas Garba, we will be collecting donations. Small donations can make a significant difference in the lives of individuals and families facing food insecurity.
Please support us by:

• 🫘 Bringing a pre-packaged bag (500g) of pulses such as lentils, chickpeas or dried beans.
  *Must have at least 3 months "Best Before Date".
  *Any out of date items will not be accepted.
• 💷 Making a donation on the day — cash and credit/debit cards are accepted.

About Shishukunj

Shishukunj is a children's charity that has been working in London for over 40 years. Through the medium of Indian culture, we try to instil positive morals and values in children from the age of 5 upwards so that they become responsible and respected leaders of tomorrow's society.

We have two centres in London that cater for over 450 children each Sunday. We also organise a host of annual activities that include celebrating major Indian festivals, events to help the needy and camping trips. 

Our philosophy is rooted in the concept of 'Gamat Saathe Gnaan' or 'Learning through Fun' and we aim to ensure that everything we provide is always enjoyable and educational at the same time.
