Hartfield Six Nations Lunch

Six Nations rugby. A legendary guest. Great food, good wine, and even better company. And two rugby clubs who deserve your support.

On Thursday 11th March 2027, Hartfield Events is putting on an afternoon to remember — a Six Nations Lunch at Smith & Wollensky on John Adam Street, bringing together a brilliant mix of rugby people and great company for a few hours that have nothing to do with the office and everything to do with enjoying yourself.

Our host is John Inverdale — familiar voice, sharp wit, and a man who has never struggled to fill a room or a conversation. John will keep things moving, and knowing John, he'll keep things entertaining too.

Our special guest is Andrew Mehrtens — World Cup winner, All Blacks legend, and one of the most intelligent fly-halves the game has ever seen. Mehrts will be joining us to talk rugby, share a few stories, and give us his take on a Six Nations that will be well and truly alive by the time we sit down together.

This is a social afternoon first and foremost — good people, great rugby chat, and the kind of lunch you'll still be talking about by the time the  kick-off comes around on Saturday.

We're also delighted to be raising funds for two rugby clubs who mean a great deal to us. Trinity RFC are heading into their centenary season — one hundred years of the game, the community, and everything that goes with it — and we want to mark that properly. We're also supporting Shogun RFC, a legendary invitational sevens club that continues to do things the right way on and off the pitch giving young players all over the World opportunities to play at the highest level.
