Open Shotokan Karate Seminar with Takuya Makita Sensei

All Grades Session (9th kyu and above): 6:15pm-7:15pm
Advanced Grades Session (4th kyu and above): 7:30pm-8:30pm

JKS members: £20 per session or £30 for both sessions
Non-JKS members: £25 per session or £40 for both sessions

No booking fees. Book both sessions and save £10.

Open to licenced karate practitioners aged 8 and above from all styles, associations and affiliations.

Join us for an open Shotokan karate seminar with Takuya Makita Sensei, a visiting instructor from JKS Headquarters in Japan.

This is an excellent opportunity to train with Makita Sensei and develop your technique, movement and understanding through training based on the principles and standards taught at JKS Headquarters.

Karate practitioners from all styles, associations and affiliations are welcome. Whether you practise Shotokan or come from another karate background, we would be delighted to welcome you.

Eligibility and Registration

• Open to: Karate practitioners from all styles and affiliations
• Minimum grade: 9th kyu
• Minimum age: 8 years
• Licence and insurance: Participants must be members of a recognised karate club and hold a valid licence with appropriate insurance cover.
• Registration: A separate ticket is required for each participant.
