Join us for a very special Open Shotokan Karate Seminar with Takuya Makita Sensei, visiting instructor from JKS Japan HQ, at Polmont Sports Centre on Friday 16th October 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to train with one of JKS Japan HQ’s leading instructors and gain first-hand insight into authentic Shotokan karate, including technical detail, movement, spirit and the high standards taught at the source in Japan.

The seminar is open to all karate-ka, regardless of style, association, or affiliation. Whether you are a Shotokan practitioner or come from another karate background, you are very welcome to attend and share in this unique training experience.
