Zoological Club at Shuttleworth College

Zoological Club 

A great opportunity to experience zookeeping at the ZEC, allowing you to get a taste of what animal care is all about. These sessions are ideal for learners who want to work with animals in the future and will give you an insight into what our courses offer.


The Details:
It is a set of taster sessions aimed at 12 - 16 years old which can be booked individually or all 4 in one.

Cost: £40 for one session.
Location: Shuttleworth College - Zoological Education Centre, Old Warden Park, Biggleswade, SG18 9DX
Drop off at 09:30 and collection at 15:00 at/from the Zoological Education Centre (ZEC)

Requirements: All participants to bring packed lunch and wellies. Please wear clothes that can get messy, our animals do not respect nice clothes!

Clothing:

• No shorts are allowed.
• In warm weather, children may wear lightweight trousers, either 3/4 length or full length.
• Footwear: Please provide wellies or a pair of old, closed-toe shoes that your child doesn't mind getting dirty. Open-toed shoes are not permitted for safety reasons.

Lunches:

• Please ensure your child’s lunch is completely nut-free. We have children with serious nut allergies, and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping everyone safe.
