Please note

  • When the payment window is closed exam entries will not be accepted without prior agreement.  please email examsbedford@bedford.ac.uk before proceeding. There may be late penalty fees to pay.
  • When booking an Exam, you are entitled to cancel a Contract within the period of 14 days after the day on which the Contract is entered into (Cooling-Off Period) without giving any reason, however in accordance with applicable consumer laws, we will retain a reasonable portion of the Entry Fee to reflect the work undertaken by us up to the point of cancellation.
  • If you are due to take the Exam before the expiry of the Cooling-Off Period, then you expressly request that we begin the supply of services (i.e. the provision of the Exam) before the end of the Cooling-Off Period, you will lose the right to cancel from the day of the Exam onwards.
  • Any requests to cancel the contract must be submitted to examsbedford@bedford.ac.uk  and creditcontrol@bedford.ac.uk no later than the last day of the cooling off period. We will retain a sum of £35 from the Entry Fee to reflect the work undertaken by us up to the point of cancellation. Nothing in this section affects your legal rights. 
  • If you cancel your Entry after the Cooling Off Period, we will not offer any refund of the Entry Fee or the External Administration fee for the cancelled Exam.
  • RHS operate a process of deferral in exceptional circumstances. A deferral has to be approved by RHS via a form available from the College.  It allows the fees and exam entry to be moved to the next available session.  You will only be able to defer a fee once.  However this is approved in exceptional circumstances only e.g. court summons, jury service, illness/injury, bereavement of close family.  You must be able to provide supporting evidence.
  • Any deferral requests with accompanying evidence must be submitted by email to examsbedford@bedford.ac.uk  as soon as possible and no later than 10 working days of the examination date.
