Rise Up For Sickle Cell - A black tie ‘slipped’ charity fundraising event presented by Sickle Cell Society (SCS) & Reverse Psychology London.

Reverse Psychology London is partnering with the Sickle Cell Society to host ‘Rise Up For Sickle Cell’ a glamorous evening of celebration and fundraising on Thursday 22nd July 2021 (as heard on BBC Radio London).

Hosted in the exclusive Home House private members, club, Rise Up for Sickle Cell will be a luxurious evening of music, art, fashion and more.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed to this iconic venue with complementary drinks and delicious canapés, with chance to view the specially selected artwork on sale.

The evening will be headlined by a performance from legendary British singer-songwriter Roachford, Mi-Soul Radio's DJ Femi Fem (Mi-Soul Radio Young Disciples) as well as performances by surprise guests.

During the evening you will enjoy two more drinks & even more canapés with a cash bar & entertainment all night; fashion shows by Reverse Psychology London by STELLA MAE and SOBOYE, program of events with ticket.

During the evening we will also have an auction hosted by auction house Bonhams & raffle of fantastic prizes to help raise money for sickle cell.

The evening will officially end at midnight but the good times don’t stop there, with music and dancing open until 2am.

Dress code: Black tie 'slipped'

The first few ticket purchases will be given a beautifully presented ‘England Our England’ Windrush generation social history book worth £25 presented by one of our stars at the event on the night.

  • General Admission: £150
  • Table Ticket (4 people): £500 (Save £100 when you buy a table for four people).

All tickets include:

  • Exclusive access to a private event
  • ‘View from the Shard’ goody bag to take home
  • Three drinks (the first welcome drink of fizz is 6-6.40pm)
  • Delicious canapés
  • Paid bar to continue to raise funds

  • A specially commissioned piece ‘The Sunflower Queen’ (acrylic on canvas) by Liz Berman (emerging new artist whose work focuses on portraiture combined with natural elements and symbolism in order to explore the multifaceted aspects of self and of being).
  • ‘The Green Armchair’ (oil on canvas) by Anthony D Padgett (award winning sculptor, artist, writer, dance teacher, and activist)
  • Artwork by Moussa Sanogo (a Paris born artist who started out as a model and whose work has been exhibited all over the world and collected by notable collects including music icon Grace Jones)
