Sidmouth 2025 Campsite Electrical Hook-ups (EHU)

ELECTRIC HOOK-UP (EHU)

For all EHU users

• These are available only for week long bookings, not available for day or weekend camping
• Can camp from 12noon Wednesday 30 July, must depart by 12noon Saturday 9 August 2025.
• EHUs are limited and on a first come first served basis.
• The supply will be rated at 10A and come on a 16A CeeForm Socket. This will provide circa 2.5kw of power. All sockets will be rated and have an automatic switch off if excess power is being taken.
• The power supply is not backed up and cannot be guaranteed at all times. In the event of a power failure the down time might be up to 12hours. However, this will only be in extreme circumstances and only where a replacement generator is required.
• Hirers will be expected to behave in a safe and responsible manner with regards to all electricity usage
• Sidmouth Folk Festival reserve the right to remove access to power where the user acts negligently, inappropriately or is in breach of the terms.
• The liability of the festival is up to the supplied socket only.
• Any equipment being connected to the supply should be in a good state of repair and safe. The festival cannot be held liable for any harm or injury caused through faulty equipment being connected to the supply.

For General Camping Site

• The £125 charge is per vehicle, and in addition to any camping and Live-in-Vehicle charges
• For caravans, campervans, live-in-vehicles only
• You must have purchased the appropriate camping and live-in-vehicle passes in order to purchase the EHU option. For artists, dance sides and volunteers, you must have requested camping and live-in-vehicle passes on your ticket form / application.
• The EHU spots will be in numbered demarcated locations along the hedge-line/s. You will be allocated a number.
• It will not be possible for others to camp directly with you/next to you unless they are also booked for EHU. No guarantees that we can put everyone together. We would suggest that if you strongly want to camp with another electric hook-up camper then one of you purchases the two EHUs at the same time.
• Power cables must only be run to/from the Live-in-Vehicle and not daisy chained or laid across roads/pathways.

For Accessibility Area Camping

• There are a very limited number of EHUs within the Accessibility Area of the Campsite
• The £125 charge is in addition to any camping charges
• For caravans, campervans, live-in-vehicles and tents
• You must have the appropriate camping passes in place in order to purchase the Accessibility EHU option
• The EHU spots will be in numbered demarcated locations within the Accessibility Area. You will be allocated a number.

The campsite will continue to offer free charging for mobility scooters and wheelchairs at the campsite hub.
