Building on the huge success of the past two years, at this year's festival we are thrilled to announce that we will be presenting 3 days of music in Blackmore Gardens over the May Bank Holiday Weekend from Saturday 25th - Monday 27th May 2024.

The Gardens will open at 10am every day with music starting at 11am and continuing throughout the day until 5.30pm, we have some top names from the UK Jazz, Blues, Latin and Funk scene with some new and returning artists coming to the festival. The full line up will be announced in the coming weeks and will feature exceptional acts such as Ian Shaw, Snowboy and the Latin Section, Acantha Lang and returning favourites The Jazz Defenders... it doesn't get any better than this!

With 5 acts appearing every day, with 15 acts in total that represents over £200 of live music - this will be the Jazz & Blues event of the year and not to be missed - demand will be high so guarantee your place and book today!

For the first time ever at the SIdmouth International Jazz & Blues Festival we are pleased to announce a FREE education programme. With 12 hours of workshops & masterclasses and 8 hours of jam sessions organised over the weekend, there will be something for everyone. Each of the sessions will be bookable in advance at no cost, but will ensure you reserve your place. Oh, and did we mention we have a free Gospel choir performing on the Sunday 26 May as well - what is not to like! Come along and be part of the music, and bring your family and friends too.

If we receive enough funds for this year's festival we plan to dress and decorate the streets in a New Orleans style and place painted pianos around the town for people to enjoy and play!

• All concerts take place in the outdoor setting of Blackmore Gardens.

• Evening Concerts - Children under 5 free (no ticket required).
• Daytime Music - Children under 12 free (no ticket required, age checks may be in place).
• All children under the age 18 must be accompanied by an adult and will be the responsibility of an adult.
• No seating is provided by the festival, please feel free to bring a folding chair or rug - use of these items may be limited in certain circumstances, please see our Terms & Conditions for more details.
• Licensed Bar and food concessions on site (no food and drink permitted into the venue, with the exception of water).
• Daytime Gates open 10.00pm, with music staring at 11.00pm and continuing until 5.30pm when the stage will close.
• If you have a ticket for the daytime music you are welcome to stay in our bar and concessions area from 5.30pm until the main stage opens again at 7.00pm.
• Evening Gates open at 7.00pm.
• Public must leave the site by 11.00pm.
