Description
Interactive introduction to songwriting and the basics of producing music, using instruments and music software.
Part one (approx. 45-50min): An interactive introduction to songwriting, where to start, a guideline of the process, then the group writing a song together.
Part two (approx. 1 hour): The basics of producing music, including an arrangement, then creating the “big picture” of a track. It will be an interactive process of producing the earlier written song with some volunteers using live instruments and recording the whole track live in the end.
No musical experience or equipment needed.
Takes place in Central Library, second floor Reading Room.
