Participants will create their own short, animated film using stop motion software. With guidance from our expert tutors, participants will use different materials, props and backgrounds, design characters and sets and create their films frame by frame.
In this session, participants will work in a smaller group at a pace that suits them in a relaxed, structured environment where creativity and confidence can grow, this workshop provides a supportive space to bring ideas to life.
You will learn:
- How stop motion animation works (filming frame-by-frame)
- Story planning and visual storytelling skills
- Camera positioning, sequencing and simple editing
- Set design and creative expression
- Problem-solving, focus and project planning
By the end of the session, each participant will have completed a short film, something they can share with friends and family.
Please note that these workshops are intended for residents of Harwich and the Tendring area. We kindly ask that bookings are made only by those who live within these communities. If you book a place and are not based in these areas, we may need to cancel your booking to ensure spaces remain available for local residents.
